Status: planned. Read-To-Earn depends on the PAGE token, which has not launched. Nothing on the platform pays out today, and there is nothing to sign up for.
The idea
Reading is the one thing a bookstore can measure that a marketplace cannot. Read-To-Earn is designed to reward it directly: finish a book, complete the reading-linked tasks attached to it, and earn PAGE or a collectible — rather than a loyalty point that only works in one shop.
The hard part is proving a book was genuinely read rather than scrolled past, which is what Proof-Of-Read is for. That mechanism has to work before the reward around it means anything, so the two ship together or not at all.
What you can do today
Reading itself is fully live — the built-in EPUB reader, the AI Reading Assistant, text-to-speech, and VR/AR reading all work now, without any token. See the FAQ for how to open a book you own.
